The feeling of tranquility and spiritual balance marks the plateau of Aubrac. This fact represents a real positive effect of the place's location. A very strong energy of Aubrac's ancient volcanic platform and its stunning landscapes are able to restore the man's inherent energy. In this context Royal Aubrac emerges as an exceptional place for digital detox practices. This concept proposes to develop the idea of burnout prevention center and team building events that are practiced today in the form of seminars, trainings or other types of corporate events. The abundance of free space creates new opportunities for outdoor activities. With this in mind the new center will also meet the needs with a twofold objective: to increase the qualifications of employees as well as to improve their well-being through on-site activities. The digital detox treatment responds to an awareness of the need to refocus on oneself and to protect one's psychical and work-life balance. It proposes to stay away from many solicitations and digital temptations, which are time-consuming and often are sources of stress and lack of sleep, as well as memory disorders. It is a proposal to adapt a new corporate lifestyle to prevent digital overload.
On the day of arrival at the center, visitors will be invited to deposit the digital tools in the safe box. The program will begin with an entrance medical and nutritional consultation. The stay will alternate a treatment with a psycho-behavioral coach as well as relaxing and anti-stress treatments. The meals will be personalized in order to find balance and form. The physical and cultural activities will be adapted to the needs and will be carried out inside, outside or in a form of a hike in open air.
The marketing model for a digital detox center will be predominantly in groups. However, this mode of operation will not exclude direct marketing for individuals who want to stay in Aubrac by taking advantage of the services offered by the establishment. The services proposed onsite are also ment to be used by local population.

The architectural project for the Royal Aubrac includes the creation of a sequence of terraces in front of the building with the integrated program below. This intervention will not disturb neither the landscape nor the building. The terraces are conceptually presented as the translation of the symmetry of the historic building (by these templates) to access from the village of Aubrac. Their movement is done according to the guidelines of the landscape and the unevenness. The terraces gradually emerge from the ground like rocks and culminate in the Royal Aubrac building built of basalt stone. The terraces will be treated as an interface or transition between the perfect symmetry of the building and the natural asymmetry of the landscape.
